James M. Bremer, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA is a second generation hearing healthcare provider. Dr. Bremer received his Masters Degree in Audiology in 1992 and his Doctorate of Audiology degree in 2002 and has been working in the hearing healthcare field since he was a teenager. Richard and Marilyn Bremer started the Hearing Aid Service of Utica in 1957 and Dr. Bremer worked with his father at the office since he was 13 or 14 years old. The Hearing Aid Service of Utica eventually changed to Central Hearing Consultants with offices in New Hartford, Rome Auburn, NY. Richard Bremer retired in 1994 and Dr. Bremer took over the practice and tried to run it as his father did with emphasis on providing the best possible service, support and technology to our patients. In 2007 the offices were sold to HearUSA and Dr. Bremer worked with the new owners for a period of time and in 2012 decided to start Bremer Hearing & Audiology in Rome, NY. We are now able to provide the best technology from ALL of the top hearing aid manufacturers and being part of the Marcon and EarQ buying groups we are able to provide the very best pricing and warranties and saving our patients hundreds of dollars or more. Our family has always tried to what is best for our patients. Jim is Married to Patricia Flanders Bremer and they have 3 wonderful sons Andrew, Quinn and Jack.

Ellen Valeriano, office manager, has been in the hearing healthcare field for over 30 years. Ellen started working with Richard and Marilyn Bremer at the Hearing Aid Service of Utica and then Central Hearing Consultants and then HearUSA after the practice was sold. Ellen retired briefly in 2011 and then decided to come back to work at Bremer Hearing & Audiology in 2012. She has been part of the family for decades and we are extremely lucky to have her on staff. Ellen also working in her embroidery and craft business www.decorative-embroidery.com and she is a very skilled quilter and crafter. She frequently participates in area craft shows and dedicates a tremendous amount of time to her church in Whitesboro. She has numerous grandchildren that keep her very busy and entertained. Lisa Brown has been in the hearing healthcare field for over 10 years including over Five years with Bremer Hearing and Audiology. She is married to a Steve Brown(who is a great guy) and together they have a wonderful son Logan. As a family they enjoy outdoor activities including riding horses, ATV's, motorcycles and snowmobiling. Lisa manages our Rome office Monday through thursday and is in New Hartford on Fridays.

Dr. Jessica Mansur (Strzepek) is originally from Holland Patent, NY. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY and earned her Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University in Elkins Park, PA. Dr. Mansur completed her residency at Charlotte Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Associates, PA in Charlotte, NC. She practiced in Greenville and Spartanburg, SC for several years before relocating back to the central NY area to be closer to family. Dr. Mansur specializes in the areas of diagnostic hearing evaluation, treatment and prevention, tinnitus, and balance disorders. Her own personal experience with hearing loss has inspired her passion for the field of audiology and her understanding of how hearing loss can impact one's overall health, mindset, and lifestyle. She is an active member of the American Academy of Audiology, the Academy of Doctors of Audiology and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. When she's not working, Dr. Mansur is kept busy with her wonderful husband, two children, and two dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, baking, learning about new cultures/foods, being in nature, and traveling. Dr. Mansur is incredibly honored to be a part of Bremer Hearing and Audiology and is excited to help people on their journey for better hearing and improved quality of life.
